Terms and privacy summary
Draft: this is a plain-language summary of how EduCore works today. It will be replaced by full terms and a privacy policy before EduCore is offered commercially.
Your school's data
Your school owns the information it puts into EduCore (students, staff, parents, results, fees). We use it only to run the service for your school. You can export it at any time.
How it's protected
Each school's records are kept separate in the database, access is limited by role, and changes to grades, attendance, fees and people are recorded in an audit log. EduCore staff see a school's data only for support, and that access is recorded in the school's own log.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Paystack; EduCore never sees or stores full card numbers. Subscriptions are billed monthly per active student, in naira.
Trial and cancelling
New schools get a 30-day free trial. If a subscription ends, the school keeps read-only access to view and export its data.
